Max, un occhio attento che rivela una fotografia preziosa, originale e un amore intenso per gli scenari naturali del nostro pianeta. Le sue immagini sono state pubblicate per HarperCollins, GEO, Royal Photographic Society - Travel, Sei viaggi, cataloghi Icelandair e Francorosso, Meridiani, su volumi della White Star. Ha al suo attivo un centinaio di mostre tra le quali figurano quelle in collettiva, presentate a Melbourne (Westpac AG) nel 1989 e Los Angeles (LACDA) nel 2004 e le personali a Milano nel 1989 (SICOF), 1995 (BIT), 1998 (Galleria AGFA), Torino 1990 (Galleria Lagrange), Roma 1994 (Castel S. Angelo), Venezia 1988 (Galleria PhotoVeneto), Piacenza 1992, Vigevano (Castello Sforzesco) e Aosta (Castello Tour de Villa) nel 2013.
E' l'unico fotografo europeo che ha ricevuto il premio “Focus on Your World“ UNEP delle Nazioni Unite, in occasione della Conferenza Mondiale sull’Ambiente tenutasi a Rio de Janeiro nel 1992. Degni di nota i reportages realizzati, oltre che in Italia, Isole Farøer, Svalbard, Romania, Cuba, Isole Canarie, Madeira, Nuova Zelanda e soprattutto in Islanda. Collabora con l’Ambasciata ed il Consolato Islandese di Milano, Promote Iceland, organizzando periodicamente, in questo paese, viaggi fotografici e workshops. Sue immagini sono presenti nel box interattivo della Saatchi Gallery di Londra e di National Geographic.
Max, the visual drama and artistry of his photographs are born of a keen eye for the many moods of Nature and a life-long passion for the wilderness. Nature through his eyes. Max’s photographs have been published extensively worldwide in a large variety of media ranging from, books, advertising and the publications of White Star publisher, Francorosso, Royal Photographic Society – Travel, SEI VIAGGI and Icelandair “ brochures, “ GEO “ , “ Harper Collins Educational “, “ Meridiani “ and shown in many exhibitions for instance in group (Westpac AG-Melbourne 1989, LACDA-Los Angeles 2004 and in solo (SICOF Milan 1989, BIT 1995, Galleria AGFA 1998, Galleria Lagrange Turin 1990, Castel S. Angelo Rome 1994, Galleria PhotoVeneto Venice 1988, Piacenza 1992, Castello Sforzesco Vigevano and Castello Tour de Villa Aosta 2013.
He’s the only European photographer winning an award in United Nations International Co. “Focus on Your World“, during Earth Summit 1992 in Rio de Janeiro. Full length photographic works on Italy, France, Norway, Svalbard, Faroe islands, Romania, Cuba, Canary Islands, Madeira and New Zealand and Iceland, overall. He works closely with the Embassy and the Icelandic Consulate in Milan, Promote Iceland-Iceland Tourist Board and he used to organizing, in this country, tours and workshops periodically. His works are included in the Saatchi Gallery online art showcase and in National Geographic Community.
